Driving Traffic Using SEO

traffic_signal_2One of the biggest challenges that all internet marketers face is getting targeted traffic to their site. There are several ways to drive traffic to your website.

One of the most popular ways is through Search Engine Optimization. There is two parts to SEO – on page SEO and off page SEO.

A few things you should know about “on page”. Always start with keyword research. Google provide an excellent free tool for this – Google Keyword Tool. When you are purchasing a domain name, ensure that your main keyword is in that domain. When you are posting on your blog, use the keyword in the title of your blog. Keyword density must also be considered. It should be between 3-5%. Anymore many make the blog or article appear to be spam.  Make sure you use header tags and meta tags. You can use internal links from one of your pages to another. Always make certain that you only use unique content. These are some of the “on page” factors that Google loves and will increase your ranking and help get you traffic.

Coaching Newbies 2.0 Launch

My new coaching is now available. It is a very comprehensive course. It is an easy step by step method teaching you how to go from basics as a beginner to showing you how to create your own product and along the way; I will teach you how to build a list so that you send your product to your list. I go through every aspect of how to be a success on line.
If you have never had any experience on line, it does not matter.  What I will teach you is how I consistently make money every month. You can then follow what I do and replicate it. I teach this course myself and I will give you unlimited email support and 1 hour one on one skype support.
Each week, I will release the video for the week. You cannot jump ahead because the videos are only released every 7 days. Each video requires you to complete the homework set for the week.
You can stop and start and replay the videos if you want to clarify a point and then if you still seem lost, please contact me.

LIST BUILDING

List Building
As an internet marketer, you will need a list if you are going to sell information or a product. The information can be in the form of reports, newsletters or ebooks.
These are some tips and facts you should know to help you get and maintain your list.
1. Make sure that you have a good clean website with good unique content.  By this I mean, make it appealing to the eyes of your visitor. If it is cluttered and the content is poor, the visitor will click off very quickly.
2. If you want to give a free product away on your blog, have your opt-in box in at the top of the right hand side bar, in a prominent position. Again make it a “clean” looking opt-in, where you tell you visitors they can get their free download.
3. Always aim for your target market. This means if you have a blog on internet marketing, you do not offer a free book on how to lose weight. They may sign up to your list but the moment they find that they do not want this product, they will quickly unsubscribe. Give the customer what they are expecting.
4. Once a customer signs up to your list, you can in a few days send them a follow up email to see if all the questions they had were covered. This is the beginning of building trust in your relationship with the people on your list. By building trust you will be able in the future, sell to them over and over again.
5. If you really want to increase your list at a faster pace, go on the appropriate forum for whatever niche you are in, and offer a free book that could help people on that forum. It could even be a simple report that answers some of the questions that the members are asking.
6. Again on the forum, you can offer to do an ad swap. You can also go to adswap sites and do an adswap – again for a free product. This is not hard to do because on all adswap sites there are people with larger and smaller list. The great thing about these sites you pick adswaps only in your own niche.
7. Another method of getting people to visit your site and sign up is through writing articles.  There are always people searching for articles and blogs on various subjects.

Internet Marketing Is Not All About the Money!

ski1Now I know a lot of you out there have jut read the subject line and think – Mark are you crazy?

Why are we all trying so hard if you are now saying it’s not about the money?
I will tell you categorically that it is definitely not about the money but it is about the lifestyle the money will give you.
If someone said to you what do you think that living a happy, satisfying life would entail – what would you answer? The answer would probably be something like – having a happy family, living in a comfortable house by the beach and driving my dream car. You agree? Now, there was no mention of money just what you envisaged your life should be.
I have asked this question several time of my students over the years and they come back with various answers but never have I been told just show me heaps of cash. The money is only a means whereby you can have the life you want.
Internet marketing can give you that lifestyle. It is not an immediate way to make money but if you get yourself a coach/mentor and are prepared to put in your time and abide by what you are taught, you will achieve. I too, had to get taught by a mentor/coach.
Now after a few years of hard work (and I am still prepared to work hard with my students) I have achieved a respectable level of success that allows me to have my comfortable life style. What you do is set up multiple streams of income that make money for you over and over again. I can teach you how to do it.
That is why; I have been able in the last few weeks, to have some time for me and my family. This is what I have been doing.
