Well we are fast approaching January 1st, 2012. What a year it can be for you! You can totally turn around your entire life.
Yes – you read that correctly – if you write down the goals you want to achieve for 2012, there is no reason that you cannot turn them into reality. There is only one thing with resolutions – they must be practical and you must be able to achieve them.
Whether you want to further your education, lose weight or make money online or offline – it is all up to you.
When you are writing down your resolutions, I would suggest that you really think clearly what it is you want. Not only do you have to think what you want but you must also have the plans that will allow you to achieve it. You must be able to provide your own solution to reaching the goal.
So let’s take the first one for example. You want to further your education. Find the course you want to do, make sure that you can afford the time to do it and then apply to get accepted. As long as you do the work and study, you will get your certificate or degree on completion.
When you write out what you want to achieve and how long you are going to take to achieve it – it is amazing how easy it becomes. Write a long term plan and then break it into smaller pieces in the time frame. So you start with an end in mind that may be going to take a year to complete, and then break it down into what you have to do each month and then look at what is required of you every day. You must take action. Action is the catalysis for success.
This way, you are constantly aware of where you are along the road to your success. If you are going off the track, you can easily reappraise the situation, make some adjustments and continue to move forward.

Many of you know i have put a halt to my live advanced weekly webinar coaching as my daughter was rushed into hospital a few weeks ago. I dont want to go into to much detail hear but i need to spend time with her and my family until she is back on track.

There is not magic bullet or magic wand to success.  No one has ever become a success overnight. You hear this saying but it is not true – you had better believe it.  The truth is, when people are given the label of “Overnight Success”, they will be able to prove to you that they have been working towards their success for a long time.

So how do you become the success you want to be?  Your success is dependent on you, your mindset and how you plan to achieve and how you will carry out your plan.  Your mindset is the major part of your success. Let me put it this way – “If you believe that you can achieve – you will”. I am sure that you have all heard or read report of experiments where people have volunteered for medical trials involving the use of some drug treatment. It may be weight loss or pain reduction but these people volunteer known that half of them will be given the correct treatment and the other half will be given a placebo.  No one knows who has the correct medication for the problem or who have been given the placebo.

The group is monitored throughout the period and the results are collated at the conclusion of the trial. The results prove that some people taking the placebo achieved the same results as those taking the correct drug.

How does this happen? It is the power of the mind that allows this to happen – it is as simple as that. People believe that they are given the correct treatment and their mind accepts that they will get better.

So if you start with the positive mindset that you will achieve – the sky is the limit. The other part of this equation is that you have to be prepared to work towards your goals.

Write out your plan and the time you believe that you will take to achieve your desired results. Break these goals into smaller section that you want to achieve, each month, each week and then each day.

We have heard, over and over again, “the money in the list” but is this statement exactly true. How does a person just starting out build a list? I will explain what I mean when I say is this statement true. It is true to the degree that you have to have a list to enable you to make your money but unless it is a targeted list that you have built a relationship with over time, you will make very little money from it.

All the top marketers know how to build a list and this is what they do. They go on forums or create surveys and ask questions, to find out what are people new to internet marketing are having difficulties with. It is then a matter of them supplying the information on the nominated subjects. The majority of the questions usually are about “How do I build a list”? Or “How to I drive traffic to my site”? These would be the two most frequent topic s that the newbie asks. These top marketers then begin to design a product that will fill that need.

Anyone can do this. It is not the exclusive domain of the top marketer.  You go on the forum and do exactly what the “gurus” are doing. You have to do some research to gain the knowledge if you do not already have it. Create a product that answers the most asked questions. Go to your website, create an opt-inbox and assemble your answers in the form of a report or ebook and give it away for free.  Build a relationship with your followers. Give it away on the forum and you will soon find that you will have traffic coming to your site. This information could probably be placed on any forum site where you see people are having trouble building a list or getting traffic. This problem applies to all niches.

You have to continue to foster the relationship with your list. You will send them a follow up email to see if the product helped them. This is one of the keys of success. By fostering the relationship, people will start to see you as a friend. We all know that we would prefer to buy a product from a friend rather than a stranger. Once you have this relationship and reputation, it will not be long before people are opt-in to your list in ever increasing numbers.
